First Post...

Winnie the Pooh is a childhood classic which grew up together with me. One of my favourite show and cartoon of all time. So far, I have not met anyone who told me that he or she hates the show.

Just yesterday, I went to the library cos there was nothing better for me to do, I chanced upon what had to be the greatest book I have come across in the past few years... "The Art of Winnie the Pooh." In this book, Disney artists come together to celebrate the silly old bear's creation and they produced works that are not only intriguing but also very clever and conceptual.

Inside the books are little remarks and comments about feelings and thoughts each artists have of Pooh and friends, and those little remarks set me thinking a whole lot. Questions start popping out of my head, questions I have never thought before, I see things that I used to not see, and its amazing how conceptual this seemingly simple creation is. Every detail, sensible and nonsensical, have been thought out.

Definitely a book worth flipping through, this book of the silly old bear...
